5 days, two sisters and countless fruity drinks

Last week I told you about the summer my sister and I met a sasquatch.  Which was just after Scott and I moved up to where we are now.  In the spring, we knew I would be leaving soon and wanted to get away to spend some time together before that happened.  What should we do? Girls weekend? No doubt about it we packed up and headed for Vegas.  She had been a couple times before but it was my virgin trip.  virgin, vegas.  haha
We stayed at Paris because it was the right price and a great location.  The rooms were nice and the view was fabulous.  got to love the Bellagio  Although, in hindsight I probably won’t stay there again.  Now that I have been I have my eye on a few other hotels I would like to try next time.

We were starving when we got there so we quickly got our stuff together in our room.  Then headed downstairs to the Sugar Factory for a late lunch.  It was a bit of rough flight in.  It was windy and we missed the runway and had to circle back around.  When we finally landed there there was a standing ovation for the pilots.  Technically it was a sitting ovation but you get me.  So these martinis were everything.  Especially on an empty stomach.  Anything with candy and especially pop rocks lining the rim is a party I want in my mouth.  Yes, in my mouth.

We saw a few characters hang about.  I was a little emotionally scarred after all the amazing friends I have made at Disneyland over the years.  These guys want me to pay them to have my picture taken with them.  That is just not right.  Oh and do not get me started on all the deviant versions I witnessed of my beloved friends.  Like Mickey’s dirty, fallen down drunk doppelganger I came across.  That was just not something I wanted to see let alone pay for.

This is quite possibly the most delicious thing I ever ate.  I can’t say for sure though because…well martinis and I were never separated.  I’ll have to go back and try it again and see if it was or not.  I do suspect I would have the same problem though.  Oh and one of you is going to have to eat the bacon for me.  Ok? Ok.

I have a bit a fondness for all things Coke except the actual drink, don’t ask it is one of my many quirks so this place was a treat to see.  As well as the M&M store but I didn’t take any pictures in there.  Blame it on the martinis if you will.

We rode the roller coaster at New York, New York it was awesome.  Except for the giant bruises I had from being thrown around in the restraints.  Not that I noticed at the time.  Thank God for martinis. I think there is a theme here?

I enjoyed all the Lady Liberty sightings although it really just made me want to see her in person more.  I am pretty sure the jelly bean version is not the same thing.

We didn’t have time to go in here but I wish we had of.  It wasn’t a priority for my sister since I think she stayed there once but no worries there is always another time.

We had dinner one night in our hotel.  Sabrina ordered this souvenir margarita.  It was almost as big as her head and probably 1/2 full of tequila.  Good thing we ordered salad to hold all the booze down.

Some family came and join us halfway through our trip for a couple nights.  Which was awesome.   Of course, we had lunch i think it was lunch at Margaritaville.  It was good.  Probably.  😉

This one I took for Scott cause I thought he would like it and I was…..you get the picture.

 And some randoms….

We did some other stuff that I didn’t photograph for whatever the reason may be.  We saw the Titanic exhibit. duh We ate dinner at the steakhouse in Bally’s and it was divine.  We walked and toured a lot of hotels not pictured.  We even managed to gamble.  Oh, Alice in Wonderland at the Venetian what good times we had together.  We bought things.  ALL. THE. THINGS.  I am dying to go back.  Thinking I need to start planning a trip soon.  I just have to convince someone to go with us.  I am sure there are a few rubber arms out there I could twist.
