Friday Favorites : Winner Winner Chickpea Dinner

Hello Friday! That title up there is a little vegetarian humour up there for you. Probably not funny but it sure doesn’t stop me from trying. This has been an interesting week for sure. I am not really even sure what to say about it so I am just going to dive right into Friday Favorites with our girl Amanda.

I entered a giveaway not to long ago on that the fabulous Carly from Let Us Wanderlust was hosting. I was super shocked to find out that I was one of the lucky winners of one of these amazing kikki.K jewellery wraps. It finally arrived all the way from Australia. It is gorgeous! I love it and I can’t wait to use it the next time we go away. Thanks so much again, Carly! Know I just have to get my hands on that travel wallet. I simply adore it.

I am super stoked this week because this little blog of mine got noticed! As most of us do, I share all my posts to my blogs Facebook page. I shared my Airing Our Dirty Laundry post last week about our tour at a local winery. The winery/association noticed and shared my post. I know this may not seem like a huge thing but it is the first time someone that isn’t family or another blogging friend has shared for me. So I am tickled pink that they liked my review. 

I have been craving some cornbread muffins lately. I finally caved and made them for the first time last night. They are jalapeño flavoured so they have a little kick to them. These are definitely a highlight this week. So good. 
Wednesday was a bit of a day to say the least. I pretty walked through the door poured a glass of wine  Dirty Laundry – Secret Affair because I am in lust clearly and headed right out on to the patio. I love that it is that time of year again. Patio sipping making my heart happy. It was nice but a little windy so apparently I put my hair in braids to prevent it from blowing into my wine every time I took a sip. Which led to that gem of a selfie.
