Well, this week certainly flew by! I hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend. I know it is a little late to be saying that but I haven’t really been around this week to say it so I am saying it now. It was a pretty good week around here and I thought I would share some of my favourite moments with you since it is Friday and all. On beautiful days like this we link up with Amanda because she’s our favourite Friday girl. How about we don’t waste any more time and dig right on in.
1// My sister and her husband came up last Thursday for the holiday weekend and didn’t leave till Tuesday. It was so nice to have them both here for an extended long weekend. I really miss them since moving here. It seems the time we have together is always so fleeting and then we are counting down till the next time.
2// The weather around here has been fabulous. I mean, really it has. Yesterday I was out on the balcony with a coffee, a kitty and a book. I actually got a little to pink in the cheeks. Lets not forget our sun care now, ok? Not to mention that my brother took the cover off the pool last weekend and it is almost time for a dip. Almost. I neglected to actually take a picture of the pool but it managed to photobomb Pancake, photobombing my nephew. I figure that works too. If it went to all that trouble who am I to deny it time in the spotlight.
3//Time really flies. I can’t believe it has now been a month since Tigger left us. I still seems surreal to me like a bad dream. We did however get a special memorial token back from the vet this week. We had Tigger’s paw prints done up as a keepsake. We were really happy how they turned out even if it is bittersweet.
4//It is officially deck season. Which deserves a chorus of angels singing with back up dancers and an extra picture in the recap. This deserves all the cheers in all the lands. I suppose this is actually part of numero three but I am so happy about it all I needed to make more than one point about it. I can so I will.
5//Wine touring season is finally open! Honestly, I think this should of have #1. We will just say that these are not in order of importance then. Ummm…kay. Scott and I hit up a couple wineries on a whim last Sunday just because we could. Lets be honest. More on that next week?
That about wraps up the highlights from the week that was. I have a few others but I am going to save those for some posts next week. Deal? Ok, good.
