We did some wine touring over the summer. Duh. Of course, I wasn’t blogging so I didn’t take any notes on the wines or anything like that. I did manage to take a few pictures so I thought it would be a waste not to share them with you.
Today I want to share the ones from our trip to Misconduct Wine Co. This place is amazing! It has quickly become one of favourite wineries. They have such a great selection of wines. Honestly, I haven’t tried one I haven’t wanted to devour yet. So much so that I bought 3 bottles of their Misfit blend without even trying the newest vintage the last time we stopped in. I was that confident. It was even better than I imagined.
The view from the winery is breathtaking. They have an amazing patio to grab some food from. We actually haven’t had a chance to go back and actually eat but I am really looking forward to doing so. They have an amazing looking menu with a nice vegetarian selection. Two thumbs up.
All of these are fabulous for their own reasons. Last trip up we picked up the three Misfit bottles already stated, The Big Take, Massacre Rose and a Gewurztraminer. I hardly ever leave a winery without at least one bottle of the G stuff.
If you get the chance you should definitely stop in here. Do not pass over the Inverno ice wine either. It is pure happiness in a bottle. I just want to sip it all. Or pour in on vanilla ice cream. Yes, I must do that before the summer is really gone. Time for another trip up there. Good thing it is only about 10 minutes from my house. Ask me how much I love living in wine country? You probably don’t need to ask actually. I am pretty sure it is obvious.
