That right there was my very first Titanic moment. Even if it is just a backdrop it still makes me swoon. It still remains one of my favourite pictures of us. It started the tradition of always getting formal pictures done on our cruises. I think you may have noticed if you have been around my social media at all but I have cruising on the brain. I’m a bit obsessed and our next cruise is only 53 days now! Today I thought I would bring it all back to where my
It was Scott and I, my sister Sabrina and her husband Kevin and his parents Dar and Dave. We all piled into a motor home and drove from Vancouver, Canada to California. Yes, it was a bit cozy but that’s how the best memories are made.
We went to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios, Disneyland. Then we cruised the Mexican Riviera on the Dawn Princess. It was my first trip to California and I have made it my mission to go back as much as possible since then. That’s another story though, today is about the cruise.
It was Sabrina and Kevin’s 1st wedding anniversary. Which seems so unreal because they will be celebrating their 9th on our upcoming cruise. Could this trip really have been that long ago? Apparently, it was.
Cabo San Lucas was and still is one of my favourite ports. Cabo Wabo Cantina was definitely a highlight of the cruise for most of us. We also went on a really cool glass bottomed boat ride. I wish I I had actually taken pictures of the bottom of the boat.
In Puerto Vallarta we did spent the day the Dreams resort on their beach. It was an amazing all-inclusive excursion and we would definitely recommend it.
And course we had some fun on the ship as well.
We would love to do this cruise again one day. It was amazing. I really wish we had taken more pictures. Clearly, I wasn’t a blogger back then. I mean my pictures are seriously lacking. By that I mean I hardly have any. These are most of them. Pitiful. Our last 2 cruises I took almost 1000 each. Granted I didn’t keep every single one of them but I still have most of them. Don’t even get me started on how many Disney vacation pictures I have. We did a lot more things that I wish I had captured the moments of…like a glass bottomed boat ride and more pictures of the cities we toured. Also, the beach in Cabo where Sabrina got her hair braided. Although, I didn’t there because it was so hot I fell asleep on the beach oh the burn and Sabrina puked in the sand while getting said braid. Not to mention where are the pictures of the actual boat. Which was gorgeous but you will have to just take my word on that.
Really, it all just means book a trip back. wink wink
