Back in July, when I actually managed to get out a post or two. Bad blogger. I blogged about one of my favourite road trips. I had meant to Part 2 of that trip but never got around to it. I thought we would jump back right back into the old routine and Wanderlust on this first Wednesday of September to kick things off again.
Mostly, I just want to share the pictures with you. There isn’t a whole lot to say about La Push. It was definitely lush and gorgeous. The beach was amazing. There is a hotel on the reservation that I would love to go back and stay with Scott at one day. Just amazing, as all things Pacific Northwest are. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of it. Duh.
We drove down to La Push and it was a little further than I had thought (about a half hour) since we don’t have supernatural speed or anyone to piggy back us. There is a replica of the Black house which is a vacation rental for people to stay in that was really cool. You can’t go to the beach without writing in the sand or taking pictures of your toes, right?
Jake was also out when we went by. Maybe they were all up in Denali vacationing?
It was such a fun trip. I am so glad we took it. I have a few more pictures to share from the trip back but since this is already picture heavy I will save them for Part 3. Now you have something to look forward to…..haha
