Wine Time Tuesday

I like the sound of Wine Time Tuesday.  Yes, I am still counting down the days to kick off.  Wine season that is.  Next month baby, next month.  Shall we carry on from our last tour with the nostalgia of last summer.  Yes.  I thought so.  After we left Young and Wyse feeling a bit more both from this fabulous find, we headed out to see to  his how mom and pop do it at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery.  This is a very popular wine around here but I hadn’t got around to trying any yet.  Give me a bit of a break, I am pretty sure it will take years to accomplish my goal of trying them all but I am totally up for the task.

This is where we found a little piece just 180 acres of heaven on earth. We were in awe driving up to the wine shop through the vineyard itself.  The view when you get up there wow, just wow.  There is a wine shop, the Sonora Room restaurant and a guest house.  This is definitely a place we can see our selves coming back to over and over.  We simply must try out the restaurant.  Oh, the guest house calls to me too.  More on that late though, I will stop bragging and start showing…..

And then there was wine.  This was the most expensive stop on the tour but still not too bad unless you want to book a room.  No, I am not bitter.  I promise.  We tried a few different wines and looked around a bit but I was pretty busy so I didn’t have time to get a lot of pictures of the tasting itself.  No worries.  Although, the wine was awesome it isn’t the only shining grape at this place.
This place will definitely be back on the list for this season.  Probably a few times, it ; would safe to say.  So many wineries so little time.  Hashtag, first world problems.
